Unit of Inquiry definitions
Temperature: how cold or hot something is.
Electricity: form of energy caused by electrons that flow.
Static electricity:an electrical charge on the surface of an object.
Gas: one state of matter, when molecules are very apart from the others.
Liquid: another state of matter, when molecules are not really close together, but not very separated.
Molecules: atoms together
Solid: another state of matter, when molecules are the closest.
Thermometer: an instrument that mesures temperature.
Heat: Form of energy that makes things get warm.
Matter: what everything is made of.
Energy: The ability to do work.
